About Chris

Chris Dunham built his career in Florida courts. He studied law at Florida State University College of Law and left Tallahassee equipped for courtroom work and client counsel.

He began his legal career in public service. In 2007 he joined the State Lawyer s Office for the Fifth Judicial Circuit of Florida as a prosecutor. That early trial experience put him behind the lectern and in front of juries. It also informed how he later approached cases in private practice.

Two years after leaving the prosecutor’s office he moved into private practice as a partner at Dunham & Little in 2010. The partnership gave him responsibility for a range of matters and for mentoring younger lawyers. He took another step in 2012 when he opened Christopher L. Dunham, P.A., operating as owner and managing attorney.

Over time his practice evolved again. Records indicate he is associated with Dunham & Ingram LLC. He maintains memberships in several professional organizations, including the Young Lawyers Association, the Marion County Bar Association, the D.R. Smith American Inn of Court, and the American Bar Association. Those affiliations reflect ongoing ties to the local legal community and to forums where trial technique and ethics are discussed.

Colleagues describe him as pragmatic and direct in court. He is experienced in handling contested hearings and preparing cases for trial. His background as a prosecutor gives him insight into how governmental cases are presented and the strategies prosecutors may use. That perspective guides how he prepares evidence and frames arguments in private practice.

He is licensed to practice in Florida. In recent years his practice has been organized through Dunham & Ingram LLC, where he continues to represent clients in state courts. He concentrates on trial work and representation of clients in Florida courts.
