About Chloe
Chloe Gleichman studied science before she turned to law. She earned a Bachelor of Science from Central Michigan University in 2013 and completed her Juris Doctor at the University of Denver in 2018. Those years framed her move from the Midwest to Colorado and the start of a career anchored in public defense and criminal law.
After law school she joined the Colorado State Public Defender's office as a deputy state public defender in 2018. In that role she handled trial and courtroom work on behalf of clients in state courts. The post placed her on the front lines of criminal defense, where she managed client contacts, courtroom appearances and case preparation under the pressures typical of public offices.
In 2020 she moved into private practice as an associate lawyer at Colorado Legal Defense Group. The shift brought different rhythms but similar tasks: preparing cases for trial, negotiating resolutions and counseling clients about their options. At the firm she has worked across several of its Colorado offices, including Colorado Springs and Greeley. That experience broadened her exposure to a range of matters and courtrooms across the state.
Colleagues describe her approach as practical. She balances courtroom work with the paperwork that drives case strategy. She has spent time building litigation experience in both trial and pretrial settings. The file work, hearings and motion practice that underpin many criminal cases are familiar territory.
She is admitted to practice in Colorado and continues to concentrate her professional time on criminal defense. Her background in the public defender's office informs how she assesses cases and advises clients. The public-sector start also shaped her perspective on managing caseloads and working under tight deadlines.
Outside the courtroom she has maintained professional ties in the legal community and participated in local firm matters. Her move from a government defender's office to a private defense firm reflects a common path for lawyers who want to carry trial experience into a broader set of client relationships.
She practices at Colorado Legal Defense Group, appearing in Colorado courts and handling criminal matters from intake through disposition. Chloe Gleichman currently focuses her practice on criminal defense at Colorado Legal Defense Group's Colorado Springs and Greeley offices.
