About Charles D

Charles D Roulet built a legal life out of steady steps. He began at Georgetown University, where he studied Government and Theology and earned a B.A. in 1995 after starting in 1992. He went on to William Mitchell College of Law, enrolling in 1996 and receiving his J.D. in 1999. The arc is simple: liberal arts, then law school, then practice.

He holds admission to the bars of Minnesota and Florida and is authorized to appear before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. After a few years in practice, he founded Roulet Law Office, P.A. in 2002. He has served as the firm's chief executive since its founding, overseeing its operations and case work.

Roulet’s career spans state and federal matters. He has taken cases to trial-level courts and prepared filings for appellate review. That breadth reflects the mix of admissions he maintains; being licensed in two states and in the Eighth Circuit shapes the kinds of matters his office accepts and the courts where those matters are litigated.

Colleagues and clients describe him as methodical in approach. He breaks problems into their parts and addresses each piece in turn. The practice has evolved over time, but the through line has been consistent attention to procedure and court rules. He and his firm handle filings, client counseling and courtroom advocacy as part of their day-to-day work. In the years since founding the firm, Roulet has overseen a caseload that moves between trial courts and appellate panels.

Roulet has now practiced law for more than two decades. He continues to run Roulet Law Office, P.A., where he manages both administrative duties and active matters. He handles clients and proceedings in Minnesota and Florida and brings appeals before the Eighth Circuit.
