About Chad M.

Chad M. Ostrosky followed a steady educational path toward a legal career, beginning at the Community College of Allegheny County where he earned an A.S. in Business and Marketing in 2010. He moved on to Geneva College and completed a B.S. in Human Resources in 2012. He finished law school at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, receiving his J.D. in 2016.

He began practicing law the same year he graduated. He established The Law Office of Chad M. Ostrosky and has practiced under that firm name since 2016. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and before the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Early in his post-law school years he took on a role in securities dispute resolution, qualifying as a Securities Dispute Resolution Arbitrator for FINRA in 2017.

His work as a FINRA arbitrator has kept him close to the world of broker-dealer disputes and investor claims. Serving as an arbitrator requires a grasp of industry rules and the procedures that govern exchange and broker oversight. He has combined that role with client representation in state and federal forums. The dual perspective — acting as both advocate and neutral decision-maker in securities contexts — informs how he approaches contested matters.

Colleagues describe him as methodical and pragmatic in litigation and hearings. He tends to approach cases by isolating the central factual points and then testing legal theories against them. He prepares extensively for hearings and brings attention to procedural detail. Outside of hearings, he spends time drafting pleadings and advising clients on the realistic contours of dispute resolution, including arbitration logistics and the potential consequences of different paths.

Though his early professional timeline centers on securities matters and arbitration, his practice sits within the broader civil litigation landscape of western Pennsylvania. He represents clients in matters that reach the state courts and, where necessary, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. He keeps an active role in hearing and resolving contested claims and in the procedural work that precedes trial-like proceedings.

His office operates under his name, and he maintains his practice in Pennsylvania. He currently practices at The Law Office of Chad M. Ostrosky, handling securities dispute resolution and civil litigation matters in Pennsylvania and in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
