About Catherine Anne

Catherine Anne Foley earned her J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2006. Her legal education in Philadelphia provided the foundation for a career that spans two neighboring states. She is admitted to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Her early years after law school involved developing practical skills in state court practice and client advising. Over time she has worked on matters that required attention to procedural detail and steady client communication. Colleagues describe her as someone who prefers clear explanations and steady preparation over flourish.

Foley’s practice has included litigated matters as well as transactional work. She has prepared court filings, advised clients on compliance issues, and engaged in negotiations on behalf of individuals and businesses. She has handled discovery, drafted motions, and taken part in settlement discussions. Those activities have given her familiarity with the rhythms of both courtroom schedules and office-driven deadlines.

Outside of specific case work, she pays attention to the practical side of lawyering. That means translating legal concepts into plain language for clients. It means prioritizing deadlines and anticipating procedural hurdles. It also means balancing legal research and client-facing tasks so matters move forward without unnecessary delay. In that way, she blends the technical tasks of law with an eye toward results clients can understand.

Today Foley maintains active admission in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and continues to practice across both jurisdictions. She advises and represents clients in matters in those states and handles the procedural and substantive work that arises in state court and administrative settings. She currently practices law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
