About Casey
Casey Bryant built her legal foundation at Florida Coastal School of Law before stepping into courtroom life. She entered practice prepared for the pressures of criminal litigation. Her education provided a firm grounding in criminal procedure and trial advocacy.
Bryant began her career as an Assistant Public Defender in the Office of the Public Defender for Florida’s 4th Judicial Circuit. There she handled a heavy caseload and learned to manage cases from first appearance through trial. The public defender role gave her repeated courtroom exposure and regular experience in plea negotiations, motions practice and jury trials.
After several years in public defense, Bryant shifted to private practice and opened the Law Office of Casey Bryant, P.A. As a trial lawyer there, she continued to handle criminal matters at all stages. She represents clients in state court proceedings across Florida and litigates issues that can arise at trial. Her caseload has included a range of criminal charges, and she has worked on pretrial motions, bench and jury trials, and post-conviction matters.
Bryant is licensed to practice in Florida and also handles matters before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. That combination allows her to pursue both trial-level defenses and appellate avenues when cases require it. Her courtroom work reflects the practical lessons she learned as a public defender: prepare thoroughly, test the prosecution’s case, and make clear, direct arguments to judges and juries.
Colleagues and former clients describe her manner in court as direct and unhurried. She tends to prioritize evidence-based strategies and practical problem solving. In negotiations she presses for reasonable resolutions but remains ready to take a case to trial when a client’s liberty is at stake.
In private practice Bryant handles criminal defense matters through the Law Office of Casey Bryant, P.A. She practices in Florida and appears in the Eleventh Circuit when appellate work is necessary, and she currently concentrates her practice on criminal defense.
