About Naphtalie
Naphtalie Azor built her legal foundation at two city institutions. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Hunter College in 2009, then completed her J.D. at The George Washington University Law School in 2015. Those years put her in classrooms that paired political ideas with legal doctrine. They also set a clear path into practice.
After law school she sought admission to several bars and is authorized to practice in New York, the District of Columbia and Florida. In 2018 she served as an Assistant District Lawyer at the Kings County Office of the District Lawyer. That role placed her inside one of the busiest local prosecution offices in the state and marked an important early step in her courtroom work.
Her professional trajectory led her from public service to private practice. She now leads Azor Law, PLLC, a firm that carries her name. The office serves clients across multiple jurisdictions and reflects her multi-state licensure. Running a small firm has involved both client work and the administrative responsibilities that come with operating a legal practice.
Azor’s academic background in political science and law informs how she approaches cases. The political science degree gives a structural frame; the legal training supplies the procedural tools. Colleagues note that combination helps when complex jurisdictional or procedural questions arise. Her record shows experience in both public office and private representation, a mix that is useful when matters touch on government processes or criminal justice systems.
Outside of courtroom settings she has maintained professional memberships since 2020 and participates in bar-related activities and local legal communities. Those connections keep her current on practice developments across New York, D.C., and Florida. In day-to-day work she balances client advocacy, case preparation and the administrative duties of running Azor Law, PLLC. Her current practice handles legal matters across New York, the District of Columbia and Florida.
