About Caryn A Van
Caryn A Van Matre built a steady academic foundation before entering the practice of law. She earned an associate degree in pre-law from Lurleen B. Wallace State College in 1987. She then completed a Bachelor of Science in political science and English at Troy University in 1989. Her legal training concluded with a Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 1993.
After law school she established a private practice in Florida. Since 1993 she has served as the lead lawyer of Caryn A. Van Matre, P.A., running the firm's day-to-day operations and handling legal work on behalf of clients across the state. Her long tenure at the same firm reflects a consistent commitment to practicing law in the Florida jurisdiction.
Over the years she has handled the practical responsibilities that come with leading a small firm: case intake, client counseling, motion practice and courtroom appearances when required.
