About Camila
Camila Martin began her academic path in South Florida. She earned a B.A. in Communications from the University of Miami in 2006. After working her way toward law, she completed a Juris Doctor at Florida International University College of Law, receiving her degree in 2014.
Her early legal work placed her squarely in family law. In 2016 she joined Carlos del Amo P.A. as an associate, handling the everyday litigation and client work that comes with family-court practice. Two years later she moved to Martinez-Scanziani & Associates P.A., where she continued as an associate counsel and took on more complex matters and a broader caseload.
In 2021 Martin opened her own practice and became managing lawyer of the Law Office of Camila Martin P.A. Running a small firm added new responsibilities. She oversees case strategy, client intake and the practical business tasks that keep a solo practice functioning. The move allowed her to direct how cases are staffed and to shape the client experience from intake through resolution.
Martin is licensed to practice in Florida. Her work over the years has included contested divorces, child custody disputes and matters related to support and property division. She has experience both negotiating agreements and representing clients in hearings. That combination means she spends time both at the negotiation table and inside the courtroom.
Colleagues and clients describe her approach as straightforward and detail-oriented. She focuses on building factual records and preparing for trial when necessary. Her courtroom work requires clear written motions and the ability to distill sometimes complicated family and financial issues into plain language for judges and opposing parties.
Outside the courtroom, Martin manages the daily operations of her firm. She balances casework with scheduling, client communication and the administrative duties typical of a solo practice. Her office handles family law matters across the state where Florida law applies. Her current practice concentrates on family law matters.
