About Camellia
Camellia Safi earned her J.D. from The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law. She arrived in the profession with formal training in legal analysis and courtroom procedure. That education set the stage for a decade-and-a-half of steady progression through private practice.
She began her career in 2011 as an associate at the Law Office of Patricia E. Tichenor, PLLC. In that role she took on the day-to-day duties typical of a small firm lawyer: client intake, document drafting, and court appearances. The position gave her an early grounding in client service and case management.
After several years there she moved on to DiPietro Law Group, PLLC, where she served as a senior associate beginning in 2018. The senior associate role expanded her responsibilities. She supervised case preparation and worked on more complex matters. She also gained experience coordinating with other lawyers and support staff to advance client files through litigation and administrative processes.
In 2021 she opened her own practice, forming the Law Office of Camellia Safi, PLLC. As a founding lawyer she handled both legal work and the practical tasks of running a small firm. That included overseeing client relations, managing filings, and developing office procedures. The following year, in 2022, she joined Safi, Duran & Chim, PLLC as a partner. Moving into partnership shifted her workload again. She balanced client representation with broader firm responsibilities and strategic planning.
Across these roles she has amassed experience in managing client matters from intake to resolution. Her background includes courtroom work, drafting pleadings and motions, and coordinating case strategies with colleagues. Colleagues and clients have encountered her in roles that require both legal judgment and the administrative know-how needed to keep a practice functioning.
Her professional path is defined by steady advancement through private practice and by transitions from associate to firm founder to partner. She is licensed to practice in Virginia and works out of Safi, Duran & Chim, PLLC. She continues to represent clients and manage firm matters in Virginia as a partner at Safi, Duran & Chim, PLLC.
