About Camara
Camara Mintz built her foundation in the liberal arts before turning to law. She earned a B.A. from Gannon University and then completed a J.D. at The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law. Those years supplied legal training and the routine of law school clinics, seminars and courtroom observation that shape daily practice.
After law school Mintz established her practice in Maryland. She is admitted to the Maryland bar and has spent her career working with clients across the state. Her work blends client counseling, document drafting, negotiation and appearances in state court. She approaches cases in a straightforward, fact-driven way and aims to give clients clear options.
Colleagues describe Mintz as methodical. She prefers to break problems down into concrete steps. That steadiness suits matters that require careful preparation, whether filings, discovery or settlement talks. Her legal reasoning tends to emphasize precedent and statutes; she builds arguments around the record and the rules that govern it.
Mintz has practiced from the offices of Gracia & Mintz. The firm provides the infrastructure for litigation and transactional work alike. Within that setting she handles an array of assignments that touch on Maryland law. She works with clients, opposing counsel and court staff in the ordinary exchanges of litigation and negotiation.
Outside the courtroom she devotes time to legal writing and client communications. Clear drafting is a recurring theme in her practice. Contracts, motions and correspondence receive attention aimed at minimizing ambiguity and reducing the scope for later disputes. That posture reflects a practical view: careful preparation often narrows contested issues and can shorten the path to resolution.
In public settings Mintz tends to keep a low profile. She does not seek the limelight. Instead her practice proceeds through regular work for clients, filings, hearings and negotiated outcomes. That steady pace has defined her work in Maryland.
She currently practices at Gracia & Mintz, where her practice focuses on matters governed by Maryland state law.
