About Bryan Dylan

Bryan Dylan Huwar built a legal career that moves from private practice to in-house counsel and back again. He earned a B.A. in political science from Pennsylvania State University in 1996, completed additional studies in journalism and mass communication at Ohio University in 1997, and received his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2001.

He began his legal practice the same year as a partner at Garbarino, Neely, Hindman & Huwar, LLP. That role placed him in a traditional law firm setting where he handled client matters and helped guide firm operations. More than a decade later he shifted into industry when he accepted the role of vice-president and general counsel at Paragon Resources, LLC in 2012. In that corporate post he oversaw legal affairs for the company and advised senior management on transactional and regulatory questions.

In 2016 he opened his own firm, Bryan D. Huwar Law Offices, and returned to private practice as the principal attorney. Running a small firm requires balancing casework with the administrative demands of practice. He has managed that balance while representing clients in matters requiring litigation and counsel.

He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and in the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Those admissions allow him to file and argue matters at both the state level and before that federal appellate court. Over the years his roles have exposed him to corporate legal work, trial-level matters and appellate practice.

Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparing cases and direct in courtroom settings. He has experience advising business clients and handling disputes that arise from commercial relationships. His time as in-house counsel contributed to a practical understanding of how legal decisions affect day-to-day business operations.

He maintains an active practice out of his firm and continues to accept cases in Pennsylvania and matters that may proceed to the Third Circuit. His current practice focuses on meeting the legal needs of clients in those jurisdictions.
