About Bruce F.

Bruce F. Silver built his legal foundation in Gainesville. He earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Florida in 1988 and returned to the same campus to receive his J.D. in 1991. The university years shaped his approach to litigation and public law, supplying a steady base for courtroom work that would follow.

He began his professional career at Weiss, Handler, Angelos & Cornwell, PA in 1992. That role put him in the courtroom early. He handled trials and learned the mechanics of litigation from seasoned lawyers. The experience also offered a practical crash course in case preparation, witness examination and trial procedure.

A year later he struck out on his own. In 1993 he opened Silver Injury Law. The firm’s founding marked a shift from employee to owner. It also signaled a long-term commitment to representing injured people in Florida. In 2002 he added a leadership role as managing partner of Silver & Astor, a Partnership of Professional Associations, expanding his administrative and case-management responsibilities.

Throughout his career he has practiced in Florida and maintained his license with The Florida Bar. His work has centered on personal injury matters, where trial work is often central. He has handled jury trials, negotiated settlements and prepared complex litigation for court. Colleagues and opposing counsel have encountered him most often in state courts where contested injury claims are resolved.

His professional life reflects a steady emphasis on trial practice. He moved from associate to firm owner and then to managing partner while retaining a hands-on trial docket. That mix of managerial duties and courtroom work gives him a practical perspective on running a law practice and trying cases. It also affects how cases are staffed and how clients are prepared for litigation.

Today he operates Silver Injury Law and continues to practice law in Florida. He represents clients in personal injury litigation and pursues trial and settlement outcomes on their behalf.
