About Brooke D.
Brooke D. Youngwirth earned a B.S. in Public Relations and Marketing from the University of Miami in 2007 and a J.D. from SUNY Buffalo Law School in 2010. She combined a communications background with legal training early in her career. Those two strands show in her public-facing roles and courtroom work. Her academic path set the stage for work across both state and federal matters.
Youngwirth began her legal career in 2010 at the Eric County District Lawyer s Office, Special Victims Bureau. She moved into private practice the next year, joining Shapiro, DiCaro & Barak, LLC as an associate in 2011. In 2012 she took an associate position at Carter, Conboy, Case, Blackmore, Maloney & Laird, P.C., and in 2015 she joined Corbally, Gartland & Rappleyea, LLP as an associate lawyer. In 2021 she became a partner at Mackey Butts & Whalen, LLP. By 2023 she had established a professional membership in Youngwirth Law PLLC and lists that firm as an office.
Her admissions and certifications cover both state and federal arenas. She is admitted to practice in New York and holds federal admissions that include the Eastern District of New York, the Northern and Southern Districts of New York, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the Federal Circuit. She also completed a Collegiate Marketing and Recruitment Program with the U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and holds a Juris Doctorate recognized by the State of New York.
Outside casework, Youngwirth has maintained steady involvement in bar and community organizations. Since 2015 she has coached Mock Trial at Vassar College, and she remains active in the Dutchess County Bar Association. She served on the Saratoga County Bar Association from 2013 to 2015 and continues a role with the Saratoga Hospital Foundation Gala Committee beginning in 2013. She is also a member of the New York State Bar Association and the American Bar Association, both memberships dating to 2011.
Her resume shows experience in a public prosecutor’s office and in several private firms, including a partnership role before forming her own practice membership. That mix reflects work across different courtroom and office environments. She practices through Youngwirth Law PLLC, handling matters in New York state and federal courts.
