About Brittni A.
Brittni A. Sullivan earned her law degree from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in 2014. She graduated from Iona College in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in political science. Her academic record includes a year as president of the Delta Epsilon Sigma chapter during her time at Iona.
Her legal training began before graduation. In 2013 she worked as a legal intern at Burner Law Group, P.C., gaining firsthand experience in a small-firm environment. The following year she moved into a professional role at Burner Prudenti Law, P.C., joining the firm as an associate lawyer in 2015.
Sullivan is admitted to practice in New York. She maintains memberships in the Suffolk County Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association, both since 2014. Since 2016 she has been a member of the VIBS Elder Law Committee, a long-running affiliation that informs much of her work.
Her career links classroom training and hands-on practice. At Burner Prudenti she has continued work that began during her internship years. Colleagues see her as a steady presence at the firm’s East Setauket office, where she handles client matters and court work on behalf of the firm.
Within the professional community Sullivan’s committee work places her among practitioners who deal with issues affecting older adults and their families. That involvement has led her to take on cases and client counseling that arise from an aging population, and to participate in forums and committee meetings that address elder-related legal questions.
Sullivan balances casework with bar association activity. Her memberships in county and state bar groups keep her connected to developments in New York law. She has stayed active in these organizations since beginning her legal career, attending meetings and contributing to committee discussions.
Her practice is based at Burner Prudenti Law, P.C.’s East Setauket office. There she continues to serve clients in matters related to elder law and estate concerns, working through intake, planning, and the procedural steps required by those matters.
Sullivan currently practices at Burner Prudenti Law, P.C., handling elder law and estate-related matters out of the East Setauket office.
