About Brian Michael
Brian Michael Valdivia studied law at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, where he earned his legal degree. He completed the academic training required for practice and moved into the New York legal market after graduation. His education provided a foundation in courtroom procedure and statutory analysis that he has applied in day-to-day practice.
Early in his career Valdivia built experience handling cases and transactions across New York. He is admitted to practice in the state and has worked in both contested and noncontested matters. Over time he developed a practical approach to legal problems, emphasizing clear communication and manageable steps for clients facing uncertainty.
Valdivia transitioned into private practice and now works out of Valdivia Law Office, PLLC. He has taken responsibility for running a small office where client relationships and case management are handled directly. That structure allows him to oversee filings, deadlines and client communications personally rather than routing matters through large teams.
Colleagues describe Valdivia as methodical in preparing cases and frank in assessing options. He prepares evidence, drafts pleadings and discusses risk in straightforward terms. He prefers to give clients a realistic sense of potential outcomes and the timeline involved in pursuing a claim or resolving a dispute.
Outside the immediate courtroom tasks he pays attention to procedural detail. That includes calendar control, local court rules and the logistics of obtaining records. These tasks are often invisible to clients but they shape whether a case moves efficiently. Valdivia’s office is set up to handle the practical side of litigation and related legal work without unnecessary complexity.
He currently practices at Valdivia Law Office, PLLC, representing and advising clients in matters arising in New York.
