About Brian
Brian Maverick earned his B.S. from the University of Notre Dame in 1999 and went on to receive his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 2003. He entered the Texas bar the same year and has practiced in the state ever since. Those academic credentials set the stage for a steady legal career rooted in estate work.
He began practicing law after law school and over time became a partner at Maverick Law, P.C. He has maintained active memberships in local and state bar groups since the start of his career. His professional path has been tied to Texas courts and bar organizations for more than two decades.
In 2009 he became associated with the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and later earned board certification in Estate Planning and Probate Law through that organization. That credential marks a specific recognition from the state about his work in estate and probate matters. He continues to hold membership in the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Maverick has been a member of the Texas State Bar since 2003. He also belongs to the San Antonio Bar Association and the San Antonio Young Lawyers Association, both memberships dating to 2003. Outside the bar, he is active in the Notre Dame Club of San Antonio and the Conopus Club, where he has been a member since the mid-2000s.
His practice centers on estate planning and probate. He prepares wills and trusts, advises on estate administration, and assists families navigating probate proceedings.
