About Brian Joseph
Brian Joseph Urban combines a business undergraduate degree and advanced legal training to shape a practice grounded in courtroom work. He began his academic path at Lehigh University, earning a B.S. from the School of Business and Economics in 1993. He then turned to law, receiving a J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 1996 and completing an LL.M. in Trial Advocacy at the same school in 1998.
Those years in Philadelphia left a clear mark. The LL.M. in Trial Advocacy signals training beyond the standard law degree. It prepared him for the demands of contested cases and courtroom procedure. The combination of business and trial education gives him a practical perspective on disputes that involve both legal and commercial questions.
Urban’s early legal career included a stint at Cozen O Connor in 2003. That period placed him in a larger firm environment and exposed him to complex litigation practice. By 2006 he was listed as a lawyer at The Law Offices of Anthony Urban, P.C., where he has practiced since. His career path shows movement from a national firm setting to a more localized practice where courtroom work is prominent.
Outside the office, he has taken on roles in local bar governance and civil practice groups. He has been on the Schuylkill County Bar Association Civil Section committee since 2007 and became a director of the Schuylkill County Bar Association in 2016, a position he continues to hold. He has also been a member of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice since 2013. Those memberships reflect sustained involvement in professional networks focused on civil litigation and trial practice.
Urban is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. His background and bar activity indicate steady engagement in the legal community across state lines. He maintains an office at The Law Offices of Anthony Urban, P.C., where his work centers on litigation and trial matters. He continues to handle cases that require courtroom preparation and advocacy.
