About Brian J

Brian J DiStefano trained as a student of law and justice before becoming a practicing attorney in New Jersey. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Law & Justice from The College of New Jersey in 2000. He followed that with a Juris Doctor from New England Law | Boston, conferred in 2003. Those years framed his early approach to the law and set the foundation for a steady career in the state's legal community.

His undergraduate curriculum emphasized institutions, procedure, and the intersection of law and public policy. At New England Law | Boston, he moved into core doctrinal courses and practical skills work that are common to recent law graduates. The combination of those programs shaped how he thinks about process and advocacy.

DiStefano is admitted to practice in New Jersey. For more than two decades he has worked inside the state’s courts and administrative systems. Over that time he has handled matters that required courtroom appearances, negotiated resolutions, and counsel for clients navigating state procedures. He has relied on courtroom experience and procedural familiarity to manage cases from intake through resolution.

Colleagues describe him as methodical in case preparation and direct in oral presentations. He draws on both his academic background in Law & Justice and hands-on practice when evaluating legal problems. That background helps him identify practical steps for clients and explain options in clear terms.

While his career has unfolded in New Jersey, DiStefano has engaged with the routine variety of matters that come before state judges and agencies. He has appeared in hearings, filed pleadings, and worked with opposing counsel and court staff to advance clients’ interests. He also remains attentive to changes in state law and procedure that affect day-to-day practice.

Today he maintains an active practice in New Jersey. He represents clients in matters arising in state courts and administrative forums and continues to focus his work on serving individuals and entities within the state’s legal system.
