About Brian D.
Brian D. Rogers took a steady, conventional route into the law. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia in 1990 and earned his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School in 1994. Those years set the stage for a career practiced entirely in Georgia.
After law school Mr. Rogers entered the Georgia bar and established himself in the state’s legal community. He has been a member of the State Bar of Georgia and belongs to several professional organizations that center on trial practice and legal scholarship. His memberships include the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, the Atlanta Bar Association and the Lawyers Club of Atlanta.
Over the years Rogers has concentrated his practice on litigation. He has taken cases through pleadings, discovery and trial in Georgia courts. His work has required courtroom advocacy as well as preparation for hearings and appeals when necessary. Colleagues describe him as methodical in case preparation and deliberate at the courthouse. He participates in continuing legal education events to stay current on procedural developments and trial techniques.
Rogers’s involvement in bar and trial lawyer groups has shaped much of his professional activity outside the courtroom. He attends association meetings, contributes to discussions on practice issues and engages with peers on topics that affect trial practice in Georgia. That network provides a regular exchange of ideas about evidence, trial procedure and client representation.
Clients who retain Rogers can expect a lawyer comfortable in litigated matters and familiar with the practical demands of trial work in Georgia. He balances courtroom time with case preparation and places importance on clear communication about strategy and scheduling. His practice combines litigation tasks such as motion practice and witness preparation with routine client counseling.
Today Brian D. Rogers continues to practice law in Georgia and remains active in the professional organizations that reflect his trial-oriented practice. His work centers on litigated civil matters in Georgia courts and on professional participation in the state’s trial bar.
