About Brian C.

Brian C. Dever began his professional training at Boston College, where he earned a Bachelor of Science. He went on to receive his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School. Those years established the academic groundwork for a career that has centered on courtroom work and membership in trial bar organizations.

Dever entered legal practice in the early 1980s. In 1983 he worked at the Law Office of James D. Casey. Two years later he joined the Massachusetts State Bar, a membership he has maintained since 1985. He later moved into private practice and became a partner at The Keches Law Group, P.C. in 1990. That partnership has been a defining feature of his career for more than three decades.

His admissions include the Massachusetts bar and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. He holds active memberships in the American Association for Justice, the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Lawyers and the Boston Bar Association. Those affiliations reflect sustained participation in the trial bar community and regular engagement with professional peers across the state.

Dever’s career shows a steady progression from an early associate role to long-term firm leadership. He spent his initial years building litigation experience and then moved into partnership at a firm where he has remained. That continuity has kept him engaged in courtroom practice and professional association activities. Colleagues and peers have known him for a practical, matter-of-fact approach to casework and for steady participation in bar organizations.

Outside of the courtroom, Dever’s record of professional memberships suggests a focus on trial practice and civil litigation in Massachusetts. He has remained active in local and national trial lawyer groups while maintaining his practice in the state. His background in both state and federal admission has allowed him to represent clients in proceedings before state courts and the federal district court in Massachusetts.

He is currently a partner at The Keches Law Group, P.C., and continues to represent clients in Massachusetts state and federal courts. He practices civil litigation and remains active in trial bar organizations while serving clients through his work at The Keches Law Group, P.C.
