About Brian
Brian Ashbach earned his undergraduate degree in Information Systems from the University of Washington in 2002. He went on to Seattle University School of Law, where he completed his Juris Doctor in 2007 and served on the law review. That academic path combined technical training and legal scholarship and shaped the way he approaches evidence and procedure.
After law school he set up his practice. Since 2008 he has owned and operated Ashbach Law Offices, LLC. Over the years he has handled matters in state courts and in the Tulalip Tribal Court. He is admitted to practice in Washington and appears regularly in local courthouses near his offices.
His memberships reflect the kinds of matters he handles. He has been a member of the National Association of DUI Defense since 2009. He joined the Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association in 2008, and he is a member of the Snohomish County Bar Association. Those affiliations signal ongoing engagement with developments in criminal and trial practice and provide a channel to continuing legal education and peer consultation.
Clients consult him for criminal defense and DUI cases, as well as related hearings and trials. He prepares cases for evidentiary hearings, negotiates with prosecutors when appropriate, and represents clients at trial. His two office locations are in Mill Creek and Marysville, which allows him to serve communities across the Snohomish County area.
As of 2026 he maintains active practice through Ashbach Law Offices, LLC and continues to represent individuals in criminal defense and DUI matters in Washington and before the Tulalip Tribal Court.
