About Shaquelle M

Shaquelle M Duncan built an academic foundation that spans several institutions. She attended Washington State University’s Pullman campus before studying at Johns Hopkins University. She completed her legal training at Seattle University School of Law, where she prepared for courtroom work and client advocacy.

After law school Duncan gained admission to practice in Washington and in the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington. Her practice has involved representing clients in matters filed in both state and federal courts. She has handled filings, court appearances and the procedural demands that come with litigation in those forums.

Duncan maintains current professional memberships. Those connections keep her connected to developments in the legal community and provide a forum for staying current on trial procedure, rules changes and emerging case law in Washington.

Her day-to-day work takes place at Duncan Law, PLLC. At that firm she manages client matters that proceed through local court calendars and the federal docket in the Western District of Washington. Her role requires attention to deadlines, written advocacy and preparation for hearings and trials when cases move beyond negotiation.

Clients and colleagues describe her practice as practical and grounded. She approaches individual matters with attention to the procedural mechanics that determine outcomes. She prepares pleadings and motions, coordinates discovery, and presents argument in court when necessary. She also spends time advising clients on tactical choices early in a case so those decisions reflect the realities of litigation in Washington courts.

Outside the courtroom she continues to draw on the varied academic background that began at Pullman and progressed through Johns Hopkins and Seattle University. That combination of liberal arts and legal study informs how she assesses complex factual patterns and structures legal positions.

She remains active in the legal community and in the practice of law at Duncan Law, PLLC. Her current practice focuses on matters in the state and federal courts of Washington.
