About Brandon J.

Brandon J. Anand built a steady path from university classrooms to a small-firm practice in Los Angeles. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Irvine in 2005, majoring in economics, and took a management minor along with a year in honors computer science. He later attended Chapman University Fowler School of Law and completed his Juris Doctor at Southwestern Law School in 2008.

His early legal work mixed public- and private-sector experience. In 2006 he worked as a legal intern at the National Association of Securities Dealers, now FINRA. The following year he spent time as a law clerk at Lowe Law, APLC, and as a business and legal affairs intern at Bug Music Publishing, a company later acquired by BMG Rights Management. Those roles exposed him to regulatory, litigation and transactional matters across different industries.

After earning his law degree he joined The Foxx Firm, PLC as a lawyer in 2008. A year later he launched his own practice and is listed as the managing lawyer of Anand Law PC beginning in 2009. Over time he added professional credentials related to real estate and practice before federal and state tribunals. He is admitted to practice in California and before the Ninth Circuit, providing him courtroom access at both trial and appellate levels.

Anand’s professional affiliations reflect the mix of work he handles. He is a member of the California Receivers Forum and the California Lawyers Association’s Real Property Section. He also holds a broker credential with the Department of Real Estate and participates in the Greater Los Angeles Realtors Association. On the intellectual property side he maintains membership in the Copyright Society of the USA.

Colleagues describe his practice as one that crosses real property, receivership matters and certain intellectual property questions tied to entertainment and publishing. His experience at a music publisher and at a securities regulator informs how he approaches transactional documentation and compliance. Running a small firm has also meant managing client intake, coordinating litigation, and handling administrative duties that keep a boutique practice functional.

He has kept his practice compact and oriented toward matters that require courtroom presence and transactional oversight. He continues to run Anand Law PC, where he represents clients in matters arising in California and in the Ninth Circuit and handles real property, receiverships, and related intellectual property issues in his current practice focus.
