About Brandon
Brandon Crawford earned both his undergraduate and law degrees at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, completing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting before continuing at the same campus for his Juris Doctor. His educational background pairs a numerical, systems-oriented undergraduate training with formal legal study. That combination shaped his early approach to case preparation and courtroom work.
Crawford moved into public service early in his career. In 2009 he served as a deputy prosecuting lawyer in the 19th Judicial District–West Prosecuting Lawyer's Office. In that role he handled arraignments, motions, and trials on behalf of the state. The position offered regular courtroom time and exposure to the mechanics of criminal procedure at the district level.
By 2012 Crawford was working in private practice as an associate at Crawford Law Office. His experience on the prosecution side informed his perspective as defense counsel. He has represented clients in a range of criminal matters and has managed pretrial strategy, evidentiary work and negotiations in state court settings. Colleagues note that the transition from prosecutor to private attorney is common in criminal work and can give a lawyer an additional viewpoint when preparing cases for trial or plea discussions.
Outside casework, Crawford participates in professional organizations that center on criminal law. He is a member of the American Bar Association’s Criminal Justice Section, the Arkansas Bar Association’s Criminal Law Section, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Arkansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Those memberships provide access to continuing legal education, policy discussions and a professional network that keeps him connected to changes in procedure and best practices across jurisdictions.
Crawford’s practice remains based at Crawford Law Office. He continues to appear in Arkansas courts and to advise clients facing criminal charges. His combination of prosecutorial experience and private defense practice underpins his current work in criminal cases at the firm.
