About Brandan
Brandan Davies practices law in Kansas after a stretch of early legal work in Oklahoma courts. He blends courtroom experience, case investigation, and early settlement work into a practice that centers on criminal and DUI defense. He is a partner at Roth Davies LLC and works on matters across the state.
Davies earned a B.A. in Political Science and Government from the University of Kansas in 2006. He went on to the University of Tulsa College of Law, where he received his J.D. in 2010. Those years framed a steady progression from classwork to hands-on legal roles in public defense and court settings.
While in law school and shortly after, Davies took a range of roles that exposed him to different parts of the justice system. He worked as an investigator for the Tulsa County Public Defender in 2008 and served as a clerk for Neighbor for Neighbor the same year. The Oklahoma Supreme Court tapped him as an early settlement mediator in 2008, and he spent time as an apprentice in the Northeast Oklahoma Federal Court in 2009. Those positions gave him front-line experience in interviewing witnesses, reviewing evidence, and handling procedural matters.
After completing his degree, Davies opened the Law Office of Brandan Davies LLC in 2010 and handled a variety of criminal matters. Two years later he joined Roth Davies LLC as a partner. At the firm he continued to handle trial work and pretrial processes, drawing on both investigative skills and courtroom experience. His practice has included representing clients in DUI-related cases in which he applies training in Standard Field Sobriety Tests certified by the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration.
Davies maintains memberships in several professional organizations. He is a member of the Kansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the National College of DUI Defense, the National Trial Lawyers Association, the Kansas Bar Association, the Johnson County Bar Association, and the American Association of Premier DUI Lawyers. He also holds membership in the Kansas City Business Journal Leadership Trust. These affiliations connect him to peers who practice criminal defense and DUI law throughout the region.
Across his career Davies has kept work in courtrooms and in investigative settings. He handles client interviews, evidence review, motion practice, and trial litigation. He draws on mediator experience when cases move toward settlement and on investigator experience when preparing for trial. He is currently a partner at Roth Davies LLC and focuses his practice on criminal defense and DUI matters in Kansas.
