About Booth

Booth Samuels earned his undergraduate degree in European history from Washington and Lee University in 2003 and went on to receive his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2006. Those early academic years combined a broad interest in historical context with professional legal training. He left law school ready to move into litigation and courtroom practice.

After law school Samuels entered private practice and developed experience in civil litigation across state and federal forums. He is admitted to practice in Alabama and Louisiana and holds admissions to the U.S. District Courts for the Northern District of Alabama and the Middle District of Louisiana. His résumé includes time at Pittman, Dutton & Hellums, where he worked on matters that required close attention to procedural detail and case management. In 2018 he joined Wettermark Keith Personal Injury Lawyers as a lawyer, adding a steady stream of personal injury work to his docket.

At Wettermark Keith Samuels handles a mix of trial and pretrial matters. He represents injured plaintiffs, conducts depositions, prepares motion practice, and negotiates settlements. The firm’s practice is concentrated on personal injury litigation, and his role involves courtroom appearances as well as client counseling through the lifecycle of a claim. His admissions to federal district courts allow him to pursue cases that cross state lines or involve federal jurisdictional issues.

Samuels maintains memberships in the Alabama State Bar and the Louisiana State Bar. He is also active in the Birmingham Bar Association and its Young Lawyers Section. Those affiliations put him in regular contact with peers and judges in the region and provide a forum for handling the procedural and ethical questions that arise in personal injury work. He participates in continuing legal education and local bar programming to stay current on changes in tort law and civil procedure.

Colleagues describe Samuels as methodical in case preparation and direct in court. He balances client contact with a steady pace of litigation tasks, from drafting pleadings to arguing motions. He remains licensed in both Alabama and Louisiana and appears in the federal districts that cover the Northern District of Alabama and the Middle District of Louisiana. He practices personal injury law in Alabama and Louisiana and appears in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern District of Alabama and the Middle District of Louisiana.
