About Bob
Bob Matteucci combines legal training and business study in a career centered on family law. He earned his J.D. from the University of New Mexico School of Law and holds an MBA from Tulane University. That mix of disciplines shapes how he approaches cases and client conversations.
He began his legal education at a time when family law was evolving in both courtroom procedure and client expectations. His law degree provided the foundation. The MBA added a different lens: financial structures, negotiation dynamics and the practical mechanics of managing complex settlements.
Early in his career Matteucci spent time learning the rhythms of family court and the demands of private practice. He handled matters that required both legal analysis and careful management of financial details. Over the years those dual skills informed how he prepared cases, from document review to settlement talks.
Colleagues describe him as methodical in the way he assesses facts and options. He places emphasis on clear communication. Clients receive explanations about risks and possible outcomes in plain language. That approach reflects his belief that legal strategy should be understandable as well as effective.
Matteucci’s practice has involved contested litigation as well as negotiated resolutions. He has experience in divorce proceedings, child custody and support issues, and the division of marital assets. He has worked on cases that required detailed financial analysis and others that turned on sensitive family dynamics. He balances technical legal work with attention to the human elements of each matter.
Outside the office he has maintained professional memberships. Those affiliations have kept him connected to peers and to developments in family law practice. He has also relied on that network when a case required specialized financial or forensic expertise.
Today he practices at the Matteucci Family Law Office. His work centers on divorce, child custody, property division and the other legal issues that come before family courts. He represents clients in both negotiations and litigation and continues to draw on his combined legal and business background in daily practice.
