About Blair Jackson
Blair Jackson Leake took a conventional path into the law but followed it in his own way. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in history from the University of Texas at Austin and later completed a Juris Doctor at the University of Houston. Those academic stops set up a career rooted in Texas courts and community institutions.
His time in law school coincided with the early years of practice that followed. After receiving his J.D., he entered legal practice in Texas, becoming a member of the state bar and building experience in courtroom procedure, client counseling and the routine work of a small-firm practice. He has maintained a sustained connection to local legal organizations as part of that development.
Leake has taken on leadership roles in county and state legal groups. Since 2015 he has served as president of the Kaufman County Bar Association, a post that involves organizing meetings, coordinating continuing education and representing the bar in the county’s civic and legal conversations. He has also been a member of the Texas Bar College since 2015, an affiliation that reflects ongoing engagement with statewide professional development programs.
At the office level, he is an attorney at Wright & Greenhill, PC. The firm setting places him in a practice context where he handles everyday client work alongside other lawyers. Colleagues describe his approach as straightforward; he focuses on practical problem-solving and on explaining legal options clearly to clients.
Outside the office, Leake’s bar leadership has meant regular contact with judges, fellow lawyers and local officials. His role in the Kaufman County Bar Association has been both administrative and representational, requiring him to balance the business of the association with efforts to make legal resources available to the local community.
Leake’s academic background in history and his legal training inform how he evaluates statutes, precedents and factual narratives. He brings that perspective into case preparation, hearings and meetings with clients. He continues to practice in Texas at Wright & Greenhill, PC, and his current practice focuses on legal matters in the State of Texas.
