About Blade
Blade Thompson trained first as a communicator and then as a trial lawyer. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication and Religion from the University of Georgia in 2007. He went on to Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law and received his J.D. in 2011, where he completed work in trial practice.
His early professional steps were varied. Shortly after law school he established Blade Thompson Law in 2011. He then served as a judicial law clerk in 2012 for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit under Hon. Sarah H. Stewart, a position that exposed him to courtroom procedure and written opinion drafting. Later that year he joined Daniell, Upton & Perry, P.C. as an associate. In 2013 he opened BLADE INJURY LAW and has practiced there since.
Thompson is admitted to practice in Georgia, Florida and Alabama. Those admissions support regional work spanning multiple state systems. His time in a clerkship and at a civil litigation firm gave him experience on both sides of courtroom preparation and case management.
He maintains memberships in several professional organizations. He has been a member of the American Association for Justice since 2015. He joined the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association in 2014 and the Alabama Association for Justice the same year. He is also a member of the Florida Justice Association, where his membership dates to 2017. Those memberships reflect ongoing engagement with trial lawyers and state-level legal groups.
Colleagues describe Thompson as practical in approach. His law school emphasis on trial practice and his early clerkship informed his courtroom strategies. At Daniell, Upton & Perry he worked on litigation matters that required close attention to procedural rules and client advocacy. As a firm owner he handles case intake, discovery oversight and trial preparation.
BLADE INJURY LAW bears his name and his practice concentrates on injury litigation. He represents individuals in claims that arise from accidents and other causes of physical harm. He manages cases in multiple jurisdictions and handles pretrial work as well as courtroom appearances when matters proceed to trial.
He lives and practices in the Southeast and brings the combination of trial training, clerkship experience, and private firm practice to his clients. He currently practices at BLADE INJURY LAW, representing clients in personal injury matters across Georgia, Florida and Alabama.
