About Beth
Beth E. Maultsby is a seasoned family law attorney based in Dallas, Texas, with over 38 years of experience. She has been a partner at Goranson Bain Ausley PLLC since 2005, specializing in complex property issues and child-related matters. Her practice also addresses challenges such as substance abuse, mental illness, domestic violence, and child abuse. Before joining Goranson Bain Ausley, Ms. Maultsby served as the Judge of the 303rd Family District Court and as the Associate Judge of the 301st Family District Court in Dallas County. Prior to her judicial roles, she was a partner at Gardere & Wynne, L.L.P., focusing on family law involving complex property matters and child-related issues. Earlier in her career, she worked as a child placement worker and social worker in Fort Worth, Texas. Ms. Maultsby earned her Juris Doctor from St. Mary's University School of Law in 1987, graduating with distinction. She also holds a Master of Public Administration from Texas Christian University (1981) and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science from North Texas State University (1976). She has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America for Family Law since 2007 and was named a Texas Super Lawyer from 2008 to 2015.
