About Beth
Beth Frey earned her J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law. She built her legal foundation there and moved into practice equipped with formal training in law and advocacy. That education prepared her for a career that spans multiple jurisdictions and roles.
She has been a member of the District of Columbia Bar since 1990. That long-standing membership points to decades of legal work, although public records show a later association with Miller & Zois, LLC beginning in 2017. At Miller & Zois she has worked as a lawyer, bringing courtroom experience and case-handling responsibilities to the firm’s practice.
Frey is admitted to practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia and Pennsylvania. Those admissions allow her to handle matters across state lines and before different courts. She is also active in bar and legal organizations. Her memberships include the Maryland Bar, the Maryland Association for Justice and the Pennsylvania State Bar.
Outside traditional advocacy she serves as a mediator for the Frederick and Washington County Community Mediation Centers. That role places her in a neutral position helping disputing parties find solutions without protracted litigation. Mediation work complements litigation and adds a practical dimension to how she approaches conflict resolution.
Her career combines courtroom work and alternative dispute resolution. Colleagues and clients see someone who moves between negotiation and trial preparation as the situation requires. She joined Miller & Zois in 2017 and continues there, contributing to the firm’s caseload and collaborating with other lawyers on complex matters.
Frey’s professional path shows a mix of institutional involvement and hands-on practice across three jurisdictions. She maintains active memberships in multiple state bars and in regional professional groups. She also remains engaged in community-focused mediation work. She currently practices at Miller & Zois, LLC and handles civil litigation and mediation matters across Maryland, the District of Columbia and Pennsylvania.
