About Ben

Ben Waller built his legal foundation in classrooms far from the courthouse. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Goucher College in 1992 and went on to receive his J.D. from Duke University School of Law in 1998. Those years shaped his approach to the practice: careful, methodical and attentive to detail.

After law school he moved into practice in North Carolina. Over time he joined Hendren Redwine & Malone, PLLC, where he has worked with colleagues on client matters and litigation in state courts. He is admitted to practice in North Carolina and maintains membership in the North Carolina Bar Association. That affiliation keeps him plugged into state-level developments and continuing legal education.

His career has been steady rather than flashy. He has handled matters that required courtroom work and others that involved negotiation and counseling. Colleagues describe him as someone who prepares thoroughly and presents plainly. He prefers clear legal analysis to rhetorical flourish, and that preference shows in how he approaches files and client conversations.

At Hendren Redwine & Malone, PLLC he has worked across a range of client needs. The firm environment has meant taking on both contested matters and transactional work as cases require. Clients have come to expect practical options rather than a single course of action. Waller’s role in that setting has been to evaluate legal positions, advise on potential outcomes, and pursue the paths that best align with client goals.

Outside the office he participates in continuing education and professional programs through the North Carolina Bar Association. That participation is part of staying current on procedural changes and recent decisions from state courts. He brings that current knowledge back to his practice and to the clients he represents.

Colleagues say Waller’s strengths lie in methodical case preparation and clear courtroom presentations. He is not a lawyer who seeks headlines. Instead he focuses on steady work and steady results. He currently practices at Hendren Redwine & Malone, PLLC, representing clients in matters governed by North Carolina law.
