About Ben

Ben Bartolotta is an attorney admitted to practice in New York and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He earned his Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law in 2006 after beginning his legal studies in 2003. That academic foundation underpins a practice centered on cases that progress through trial courts and into the appellate system.

After law school, Bartolotta established his practice in New York. Over the years he has worked on matters that required both state-court litigation and federal filings. His credentials include admission to the Federal Circuit, which allows him to handle appeals that move beyond district courts and into specialized appellate review. Those qualifications have shaped a career spent largely in and around appellate work and federal court procedures.

His work has involved drafting appellate briefs, preparing legal memoranda, and presenting arguments when matters proceed to oral argument. He is experienced in preparing the record for appeal and in framing legal issues to meet the appellate court’s standards for review. Colleagues describe his approach as methodical; clients rely on clear legal writing and precise procedural handling when cases reach higher tribunals.

Bartolotta’s courtroom experience is complemented by regular interaction with procedural rules at both the state and federal levels. He has navigated complex briefing schedules and the distinct filing requirements that come with appeals to specialized federal courts. That practical familiarity with appellate mechanics proves important when a case must be steered through deadlines and technical requirements.

Outside the courtroom, Bartolotta has advised clients on the implications of appellate strategies and on the best timing for seeking review. He has worked to clarify the options available after a trial court ruling, explaining potential outcomes and the mechanics of appeal. Those consultations often involve close attention to preservation of issues at the trial level so they remain viable on appeal.

Ben Bartolotta maintains his practice in New York and appears regularly in federal and state forums. He continues to represent clients in appeals and other matters that require admission to the Federal Circuit. Currently he concentrates his practice on state and federal litigation and appellate proceedings, including briefs and oral arguments before the Federal Circuit.
