About Belinda Ann

Belinda Ann Martin built a foundation in the liberal arts before turning to law. She earned a Bachelor of Science in History and English from West Texas A&M University in 2000. A decade later she completed her J.D. at John Marshall Law School in 2012.

She entered legal practice in Georgia soon after earning her law degree. She has been a member of the State Bar of Georgia since 2012, maintaining an active bar presence as she has developed her practice over the years.

Her undergraduate studies shaped early strengths that carry into legal work. Training in history sharpened her approach to research and context. Study of English refined her writing and her attention to narrative detail. Those skills surface in briefs, client communications and case preparation.

At the same time, her law school training provided practical grounding in procedure and advocacy. The classroom launched her into the daily craft of lawyering: analyzing facts, applying statutes and preparing pleadings. She moved from academic exercises to real files and client needs, handling matters governed by Georgia law.

Martin practices at Stearns-Montgomery & Proctor. Colleagues describe her as steady and methodical in handling client matters. She represents individuals and businesses on issues that arise in state practice and prepares materials for court and negotiation. Her work includes drafting and responding to motions, counseling clients on procedural steps, and managing the document work that underpins litigation and transactional matters.

She keeps an active role in the State Bar of Georgia and attends continuing legal education programs to stay current on changes in state law and procedure. Outside of court dockets and filings, she brings the background of a historian and an English major to the file room, shaping arguments and clarifying legal issues in writing for judges, opposing counsel and clients.

Colleagues and clients see an attorney who values preparation and clear communication. She currently practices at Stearns-Montgomery & Proctor, concentrating on matters arising under Georgia law.
