Barry Clarkson is a founding member and managing attorney at Clarkson & Associates, LLC, a law firm established in 2003. The firm operates from two locations: St. George, Utah, and Mesquite, Nevada. Mr. Clarkson earned his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in 1997. During his time there, he received the American Jurisprudence Bancroft-Whitney Award for Excellence in Contracts, as well as the Corpus Juris Secundum Award for Scholastic Excellence in Contracts. Before embarking on his legal career, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish in 1991 and a Master of Arts in Languages and Literature in 1994 from the University of Utah. This strong educational foundation gave him the skills necessary to navigate complex legal issues effectively. Licensed to practice law in Nevada since 1997, Utah since 1998, and Arizona since 2015, Mr. Clarkson has built a diverse practice.
His experience encompasses civil litigation, business formation, and real estate transactions. He has represented a variety of clients, including developers, architects, engineers, contractors, and non-profit organizations. His work involves the development, sales, construction, management, and leasing of various properties, such as office buildings, malls, retail stores, housing developments, golf courses, and medical facilities. In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Clarkson is deeply committed to community involvement. He serves on multiple boards related to local healthcare, higher education, and charitable organizations, demonstrating his dedication to making a positive impact. An Eagle Scout himself, he is also a father of four boys, actively participating in local sporting events and supporting the Boy Scouts of America.
