About Audrey R.

Audrey R. Brown earned her J.D. from George Mason University School of Law in 2012. She completed the degree after a three-year program and entered the legal profession as the next step in a methodical trajectory. Her law school years gave her a foundation in research, writing and the procedural rules that govern practice in court and administrative settings.

She began her professional life shortly after graduation. Early assignments involved intensive legal research and drafting, along with client-facing responsibilities. Those tasks required clear analysis and concise writing. Over time she expanded the range of matters she handled and the responsibilities she took on, moving from supportive roles to positions with direct client contact and file management.

Colleagues describe her work style as deliberate and exacting. She spends significant time on case preparation and document review. That emphasis on preparation has informed how she approaches negotiations and hearings. She also places importance on translating technical legal concepts into plain language so clients understand their options and the likely next steps.

Brown’s professional interests include the practical mechanics of litigation and transactional work. She has applied her research and drafting skills to pleadings, motions and contracts. She also regularly engages in client counseling, helping people weigh legal risks and practical outcomes. Rather than specializing narrowly, she has taken on a range of matters that rely on careful analysis, sound procedure and clear communication.

Today she maintains an active practice that centers on representing clients and providing legal counsel. Her days are spent preparing filings, advising on strategy and meeting with clients to review progress and options. She continues to build on the skills developed in law school and in early practice, prioritizing accuracy and clarity in every matter she handles. Her current practice focuses on representing clients and providing legal counsel.
