About Ashley
Ashley Jackson moved from a business classroom to a courtroom over the course of a decade. She began in business studies and then turned to law, a path that shaped the practical approach she brings to clients today. Her work is tied to local courts and to professional organizations in Middle Tennessee.
She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Belmont University in 2008. After several years that included professional and academic preparation, she returned to study law and received her J.D. from Nashville School of Law in 2014. Those years of formal education combine an understanding of business principles with legal training.
Jackson practices in Tennessee. Her career has involved regular appearances in local and regional courts. She is a member of the Tennessee State Bar and the American Bar Association, and she keeps professional ties close to home through memberships in the Rutherford County Bar Association, the Cannon County Bar Association and the Fifteenth Judicial Bar Association. She also belongs to the Middle Tennessee Lawyer Association of Women.
Her legal work is based at Kane & Crowell Family Law Center. There she handles matters typically seen in family law practices, including disputes that require court filings, negotiation and client counseling. Her background in business informs how she approaches financial issues that arise in family law cases. She works with individuals facing change and with attorneys and court staff in multiple county jurisdictions.
Colleagues describe Jackson as steady and practical in her courtroom manner. She favors clear explanation over legal jargon. That approach is reflected in how she prepares for hearings and how she communicates next steps to clients. She maintains memberships across county and statewide bars in order to stay current on procedural developments and local practice norms.
Outside the courtroom she participates in bar activities that build connections across Middle Tennessee’s legal community. Those ties keep her engaged with peers in Rutherford and Cannon counties and with statewide groups. She continues to pursue professional development through the organizations to which she belongs.
As of 2026 she is licensed to practice law in Tennessee and works from Kane & Crowell Family Law Center. Her current practice focuses on family law matters in Middle Tennessee.
