About Amanda

Amanda Crowell earned her law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1992 after completing undergraduate studies at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1989. Her academic path kept her close to the state where she would later build her legal career. The classroom years set the foundation for a practice grounded in state law and local procedure.

She is admitted to practice in Tennessee and maintains professional ties within the state's legal community. That membership network includes the Fifteenth Judicial District Bar Association. She keeps current on regional legal developments through that organization and through regular contact with peers across the district.

Crowell's career has been centered on family law. She works at Kane & Crowell Family Law Center, where she handles matters that arise in family court. Her work combines court appearances, negotiation and client counseling. The day-to-day can move quickly from paperwork and filings to court hearings and settlement discussions.

Over the years she has navigated the practical side of family disputes. She prepares pleadings, represents clients at hearings and helps shape agreements that respond to changing family circumstances. Her practice requires attention to both legal detail and the personal realities clients bring to a case. She adapts her approach to each matter rather than applying a single method to every case.

Clients and opposing counsel see her as a steady presence in the courtroom. She engages in case preparation and strategy, and she coordinates with experts or other professionals when circumstances require it. In many instances, her work involves balancing the procedural demands of litigation with efforts to resolve matters efficiently outside of trial.

Outside of the courtroom, Crowell is engaged in the local legal community and draws on that engagement to stay current on practice trends and procedural changes. She continues to accept new matters at Kane & Crowell Family Law Center and practices across Tennessee. She concentrates her practice on family law matters.
