About Ashley Elizabeth
Ashley Elizabeth Morgan has built a steady legal career in Texas courts. She has moved from a county courtroom to private practice and then into a law partnership, carrying courtroom experience into her work for clients across the state.
She earned a B.A. from St. Mary’s University in 2002, where she studied psychology and political science. She went on to receive her J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2007. Those years in San Antonio framed her early interest in courtroom work and public service.
Morgan began her post-law school career in public service. In 2008 she joined the Grayson County office as an Assistant District Lawyer. That role put her behind the prosecution table in county-level matters and required frequent appearances in court. The job offered a close-up view of how cases move from arrest through disposition and provided early trial experience.
In 2011 she entered private practice. She founded the Law Office of Ashley Morgan, PC and started representing clients outside the prosecutorial system. Her private practice years expanded her exposure to different kinds of client needs and to the mechanics of running a law office. In 2012 she joined the National College of DUI Defense, a national organization for lawyers who handle impaired-driving cases, and has maintained that membership since.
Her practice evolved again in 2016 when she became a partner at Soyars & Morgan Law, PC. As a partner she shares responsibility for case strategy and client management while working alongside colleagues in the firm. The move represents a shift from solo practice toward a collaborative model where resources and duties are shared.
Across the various roles, Morgan has combined courtroom experience and private-practice responsibilities. She has handled matters that required courtroom work, client counseling, and the administrative tasks of running a law office. She remains licensed to practice in Texas and continues to participate in professional organizations.
Today she practices from the Soyars & Morgan Law, PC office in Texas. Her work continues to involve client representation in state and local courts, where she applies years of experience from both the public and private sides of the bench.
