About Aryeh M.
Aryeh M. Rabinowitz completed his legal training at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, earning his J.D. in 2016. Before law school he studied at Ner Israel Rabbinical College, where he received a Bachelor of Talmudic Law in 2012. He left law school equipped for courtroom work and for roles inside the judiciary.
His early law experience mixed public defense work, judicial internships, and firm-based clerkships. In 2014 he served as a legal extern in the Office of the Federal Public Defender for the District of Maryland and worked as a law clerk at Murphy, Falcon & Murphy. The following year he was a judicial intern to the Honorable Paul W. Grimm in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. During law school he also participated in clinics and practical programs, including Rule 16 work for the Reentry and Criminal Records Clinic in 2015 and a law clerk role at Bekman, Marder & Adkins, L.L.C.
After graduation he continued in court-centered roles. In 2016 he was a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Dan Friedman at the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland. That same year he again took on Rule 16 duties through the Just Advice Project. These positions placed him daily in appellate and trial settings and exposed him to procedural and evidentiary questions at different levels of the state and federal systems.
Rabinowitz moved into private practice and is listed as a lawyer at Bekman, Marder, Hopper, Malarkey & Perlin, L.L.C. His path to the firm included multiple clerking stints there and at related offices, giving him familiarity with firm procedures and client work. Colleagues and court appearances reflect a background that spans criminal defense contexts, court clinics, and appellate chambers.
He maintains bar and professional memberships across the Baltimore legal community. He is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Bar Association of Baltimore City, and the Baltimore County Bar Association. Since 2017 he has also been a member of the Maryland Association for Justice. Those affiliations keep him engaged with continuing legal education and professional networks around Maryland practice.
Rabinowitz works in Maryland courts and maintains his practice at Bekman, Marder, Hopper, Malarkey & Perlin, L.L.C., handling litigation and appellate matters in the state.
