About Arthur D.
Arthur D. Kuhl built a steady legal career after completing law school in the mid-1990s. He earned his J.D. from Widener University in 1995, after receiving a B.S. from Rowan University in 1992. The sequence of those degrees set a clear path into private practice and occasional academic work.
Early in his career Kuhl served in small firm settings. He worked as a lawyer at Dennis D. Ferri, P.A. beginning in 1995, then moved to Michael A. Pedicone, P.A. in 1999. Those formative years gave him courtroom time and hands-on case management experience. In 2005 he became a partner at Reger Rizzo & Darnall LLP, where he has remained a member of the firm’s roster.
Kuhl’s professional life also includes a return to academia. In 1997 he was an adjunct professor at Rowan University. The teaching role was brief, but it kept him connected to legal education and to the generation of students coming into the field at that time.
Before law, Kuhl served in the Navy. He was on active duty as a Petty Officer Third Class in 1984, and later served as a Petty Officer Second Class in the U.S. Naval Reserves in 1987. The military service features alongside his legal résumé and has informed his approach to practice and procedure.
He maintains admissions in multiple jurisdictions. Kuhl is licensed in Maryland and Delaware, and he is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the District of Maryland and the District of Delaware. He is also admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third and Fourth Circuits and to the U.S. Supreme Court. That range of admissions allows him to handle matters that move between state and federal forums.
Kuhl participates in local professional organizations. He holds membership in the Delaware State Bar Association and the Defense Counsel of Delaware. He also serves on the Kent County Civil Advisory Panel. Those roles place him in regular contact with other attorneys and with the county’s civil practice issues.
His name is linked to Reger Rizzo & Darnall LLP, where he maintains an office. He has been identified there as a partner since 2005. He currently focuses his practice on civil litigation and defense matters in Delaware and Maryland.
