Arthur Corona is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 2004. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Corona is a senior partner at Corona & Peabody, a law firm located at 617 South Olive Street, Suite 810, Los Angeles, CA 90014. He has been practicing law for over 22 years, serving clients throughout Los Angeles and the surrounding areas.
Mr. Corona earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2003. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at California State University, Fullerton, where he graduated in 2000 with a dual Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Philosophy. During his time at UC Hastings, he was involved in various legal clinics and externships, gaining practical experience in his field.
Mr. Corona concentrates his practice in the areas of criminal defense and family law. He represents individuals in matters involving misdemeanors, DUIs, drug possession, sex offenses, domestic violence, expungements, and appeals. In family law, he handles cases related to divorce, child custody, child support, domestic violence restraining orders, and dependency court proceedings. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Corona has handled numerous cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Los Angeles, the United States District Court for the Eastern and Central Districts of California, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He has been successful in securing acquittals and dismissals in complex criminal cases and has effectively represented clients in intricate family law disputes. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in Los Angeles for several years.
Mr. Corona is an active member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the California State Bar Association. He is also a member of the American Bar Association Section of Litigation. He is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of Los Angeles County effectively. Additionally, he is a United States Navy veteran, which has contributed to his disciplined and dedicated approach to legal practice.
