About Antonio R.
Antonio R. Nieves earned his undergraduate degree from Florida Atlantic University before completing his juris doctor at Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University in 2015. He finished law school at a time when many new attorneys were seeking practical courtroom experience. Nieves chose to pursue that route and moved into practice in Florida.
He joined Freeman Injury Law early in his career and has worked there since. At the firm he represents people who have been injured in accidents and other incidents that cause physical harm. He handles both the pre‑litigation work that most cases require and the courtroom advocacy that some matters demand.
Nieves’s work centers on client contact and case development. He interviews witnesses, gathers medical and accident records, and consults with experts when necessary. He prepares pleadings and motions, negotiates with insurers, and appears in court when a case proceeds to trial. The daily tasks mix investigation, legal analysis, and direct advocacy.
Colleagues describe him as practical in his approach. He frames legal issues in plain language for clients and constructs arguments designed to be clear to jurors and judges. That style of communication governs how he writes demand letters and how he presents evidence at hearings. He aims to reduce complexity for people facing serious injuries and the stress that attends medical bills and lost income.
Nieves is licensed to practice law in Florida and maintains current professional association memberships. He works out of Freeman Injury Law’s multiple Florida offices, handling matters brought in state courts and in settlement negotiations. He balances paperwork and litigation while keeping clients informed about important deadlines and strategic choices.
Outside courtrooms and conference rooms, Nieves continues to sharpen the practical skills that he began developing after law school. His caseload has kept him focused on the kinds of disputes that often require immediate attention and careful coordination with medical providers. He draws on that hands‑on experience when advising clients about potential outcomes and timelines.
He currently practices personal injury law at Freeman Injury Law, representing injured individuals across the firm’s Florida offices.
