About Michael
Michael Olowu is an attorney based in Florida. He earned a B.S. in political science from Tennessee State University in 2012 and later received his J.D. from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2017. Those academic years set the foundation for courtroom work and public service that followed.
He entered public prosecution in 2018 when he joined the State Attorney's Office for the 17th Judicial Circuit. In that role he handled matters on behalf of the state and gained experience managing cases through pretrial stages and court proceedings. The work exposed him to the practical demands of litigation and the pace of courtroom schedules.
After his period as a prosecutor, Olowu moved into private practice. In 2021 he served as a trial lawyer at Fasi & DiBello, P.A., taking on responsibilities that included in-court advocacy and trial preparation. That position expanded his exposure to contested hearings and allowed him to conduct litigation for private clients as well as appear in jury and bench settings.
Today he practices through Olowu Law, P.A., where he applies the procedural know‑how developed in both public and private roles. His background includes hands-on trial experience and time spent handling prosecutorial duties, giving him familiarity with court processes and evidence presentation.
Colleagues and clients describe him as a lawyer who favors direct preparation and steady courtroom presence. He has moved between roles that required him to present cases under time pressure and to prepare detailed factual and legal records. Those experiences inform how he approaches client matters now, from initial intake through courtroom appearances when necessary.
Licensed to practice in Florida, Olowu maintains an active practice in the state. As of 2026 he concentrates his work at Olowu Law, P.A., representing clients in matters that draw on his trial and courtroom experience.
