About Antonio
Antonio DeBlasio has spent more than three decades working in litigation. He began his legal career soon after earning a law degree in the mid-1990s and has maintained steady involvement in courtroom and appellate matters since then.
He completed undergraduate studies at Purdue University, receiving a B.A. in 1991. He then attended The John Marshall Law School, where he earned his J.D. in 1994. Those years set the groundwork for a practice focused on dispute resolution in both state and federal forums.
DeBlasio joined Gardner Carton & Douglas in 1994 as a litigation lawyer. That firm later became known as Drinker Biddle. He remained part of that practice for several years and was elevated to partner in the litigation group in 2001. His time there covered a range of civil litigation matters handled by the firm.
In 2006 he moved to a partnership at Kubiesa, Spiroff, Gosselar, Acker & DeBlasio, where he continued working on litigation matters. Three years later he helped establish a new firm. In 2009 he became founder and managing member of DeBlasio & Gower. As managing member he took on both leadership and casework responsibilities within the small-firm setting.
DeBlasio is admitted to practice in Illinois and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. He maintains professional ties through the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association. Those memberships reflect ongoing engagement with the legal community in the region.
He maintains an office at 22 W. Washington and continues to handle litigation matters. His work involves filings and proceedings in Illinois state courts as well as federal filings and appeals in the Seventh Circuit. He now practices litigation in Illinois and in the Seventh Circuit.
