About Anna

Anna Rubin earned her J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2006. She moved to New York after law school and began building a career that mixed public service and private practice. Her legal education at Cardozo set the groundwork for courtroom work and practice in the city.

In 2007 she joined the Kings County District Attorney's Office as an assistant district lawyer. That early job put her inside the borough's criminal courts during a formative period. She worked on matters handled by the office and gained direct exposure to prosecutorial procedure and courtroom practice.

After a period in public service, Rubin shifted to private practice. In 2011 she became the managing member of THE RUBIN LAW FIRM, PLLC. Running a small firm demanded different skills than the DA's office. She handled case intake, client counseling, and firm operations while continuing to appear in court on behalf of clients.

Her background combines time spent in a county prosecutor's office with more than a decade leading a private practice. That combination has shaped how she approaches legal problems, both inside and outside the courtroom. Colleagues and clients see a lawyer accustomed to the rhythms of the trial calendar and to the administrative demands of running a law office.

Rubin is admitted to practice in New York and conducts her work in state courts. She maintains her office at THE RUBIN LAW FIRM, PLLC, where she oversees case strategy and day-to-day practice. Her current practice focuses on representing clients in New York state matters.
