About Ann Marie
Ann Marie Maguire began her legal journey in western Massachusetts. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1973 and completed her J.D. at Western New England University School of Law in 1976. Those years set the stage for a career concentrated on medical malpractice law and related civil litigation.
Admitted to the Massachusetts bar in 1977, she has maintained membership in the Massachusetts State Bar since that year. Over the decades she has built experience in cases that turn on careful review of medical records, expert witness work and detailed factual development. Her career spans nearly five decades of legal practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Maguire is Of Counsel at The Keches Law Group, P.C., where she founded and developed the firm’s Medical Malpractice Department. In that role she established protocols for case intake, medical record analysis and expert investigation. Colleagues credit her with shaping the department’s approach to complex negligence matters and creating a structure for handling the medical aspects of litigation.
Her work involves assembling medical evidence, coordinating expert testimony and mapping litigation strategies. She is known among peers for a methodical approach to case preparation and for attention to technical detail. That approach has guided her through pre-suit evaluations, discovery and trial preparation. She has handled matters that require deep familiarity with medical standards and procedural rules in Massachusetts courts.
Outside her firm role, Maguire’s long-standing membership in the state bar reflects ongoing ties to the legal community in Massachusetts. She continues to engage in casework at The Keches Law Group while also providing senior counsel on complex medical malpractice files. Her current practice centers on medical malpractice representation and the management of cases through all stages of litigation.
