About Andrew Richard
Andrew Richard Biller earned his Bachelor of Arts in political science and history from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown in 1998. He continued at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and received his J.D. in 2002. Those years established the legal foundation he would rely on throughout a career split across state and federal courts.
Early in his practice, Biller took a position as an associate lawyer at Beier & Beier in 2005. He moved into private practice two years later, opening The Law Office of Andrew Biller in 2007. Running his own practice gave him day-to-day courtroom experience and client management responsibilities that shaped how he approaches cases today.
In 2015 he joined Markovits, Stock & DeMarco as of counsel. That role added another layer to his practice by exposing him to different firm structures and case loads. In 2018 Biller became a partner at Biller & Kimble, LLC, where he remains a principal.
Biller is admitted to practice in both Ohio and Pennsylvania. He also holds admission to several federal courts, including the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Those admissions allow him to take cases at trial and to pursue appeals in the regional federal appellate court.
His professional memberships reflect steady involvement in litigation and employment matters. He maintains memberships in the Ohio State Bar Association and the Columbus Bar Association. He is also a member of organizations oriented toward plaintiffs’ employment work and trial practice, including the National Employment Lawyers Association, the Ohio Employment Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice, the Ohio Association for Justice, and the Central Ohio Association for Justice. These affiliations connect him to peers who handle similar caseloads and procedural challenges.
Over the years Biller’s practice has encompassed civil litigation across multiple forums. The combination of private practice, of counsel experience, and a partnership role has allowed him to handle both individual matters and larger contested cases. He brings courtroom experience in state and federal trial courts, and the ability to file and argue appeals in the Sixth Circuit.
He is a partner at Biller & Kimble, LLC. His practice focuses on employment law and related civil litigation.
