Andrew Lawrence Ellis is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in December 1993. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Ellis is the founder and senior partner at Ellis Law Corporation, a personal injury law firm located at 2230 E Maple Ave, El Segundo, CA 90245. He has been practicing law for over 32 years, serving clients throughout Southern California.
Mr. Ellis earned his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, graduating in 1993. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Los Angeles, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Economics in 1990. During his time at Loyola Law School, he gained practical experience by handling cases from an attorney friend who preferred not to litigate them, providing him with early exposure to personal injury law.
Mr. Ellis concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury, car accidents, commercial litigation, and product liability. He represents individuals and businesses in matters involving automobile accidents, negligence, medical malpractice, elder abuse, and product liability claims. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Ellis has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Los Angeles and the United States District Court for the Central District of California. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in Century City for five years. His extensive experience has established him as a prominent figure in personal injury law within the region.
Mr. Ellis is an active member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the California State Bar Association. He holds membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA), and the Million & Multi Million Dollar Advocates Forum. He is also a board member emeritus of the Los Angeles Trial Lawyers Charities (LATLC). Mr. Ellis is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of Southern California effectively.
